I'm not here to find dates or meet the Man of my Dreams. MYSPACE is simply a networking tool and creative outlet for me. I like to talk to people from all around the world, and I like to share other people's vision's of what they perceive to be artistic, erotic,
beautiful, etc. People with a good sense of humor top the list. Intelligent and interesting is a must. Beautiful and gorgeous eye candy- even better~! I love getting picture comments, the more creative the better, but I also like to get to know people and what their live's are like. Don't be afraid to send me a friend's request or comment...
I am very busy, I work full time, am a single parent and I divide my time between my son and work. I also have alot of friend's who I love to spend time with and my family is important to me as well. On any given weekend I will be running around doing 10 different things from museums to brunch to carnivals with my son to his baseball games to shopping to spending time with the fam to hitting antique dealers on those rainy sunday afternoons to dancing my a-s off all night and sometimes just staying home cooking. I may not have alot of time to be online or reply right away but I do my best to keep up with everyone. Forgive me if it is sometime's a delayed reaction, but don't be afraid to reach out and touch me ;-)

I like lots of different types of music, I love deep house music, some of my favorite djs are Victor Calderone, Junior Vasquez, Peter Rauhofer to name only a few. Basically anyone who can have me dancing for hours going through a spiritual experience... music of the 60's and 70's, I love Disco Classics... growing up my Mom always had the music on and she would sing all day sometimes...hip hop--- mostly anything old skool, Lupe Fiasco, Notorious B.I.G, A Tribe called Quest, KRS One, Eric B and Rakim, Slick Rick, Grave Diggaz, Tupac, the list goes on... I love Jazz, Little Jimmy Scott is a legend, I see him live everytime he is in NY, this Man is so beautiful he makes me cry. Billie Holiday is another favorite, in the past she has carried me through some hard times. I also love Johnny Cash, but that is as far as I will go with country- he is just one bad ass mother fucka, how could anyone not love him?... I love spanish music, La Lupe is amazing... I love tribal music from any country.
Of course, I love Rock and Roll, alternative, punk, not big into metal.
I went through a tiny phase in high school of liking new wave, still like The Cure, but got past that phase for the most part...
Speaking of high school, I cannot forget to mention that I am a recovering freestyle addict... and probably only those of you from NYC or the tri-state area will even know what freestyle is...
I have to admit that I even like some cheesy 80's music... I can't help it, I was a teenager then and some of that shyt stays in your head!!
I love going to see live shows and I love being exposed to new artists so if anyone has anything they think I should hear, please send it, I'm open to new experiences...wow, I can't believe I almost forgot to include Old Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra. Shame on me. (I grew up in Bensonhurst, how could I not like him?)........... .......... ........................

Being a former bookworm, I'm almost ashamed to admit that it has been awhile since I read a book... Having a child means no quiet time to sit and read for hours... when I do get a chance to read I enjoy anything having to do with astrology, true crime, serial killers, psychology, history... I enjoy memoirs and poetry. Right now on my bedside table i have "the seven spiritual laws of parenting" deepak chopra. I have been flipping through that at night... along with the month's W and Vogue. I am looking forward to buying and reading "The Secret" upon a friend's recommendation.
Websters dictionary defines a hero as... "an object of extreme admiration and devotion" so I would have to say that my Son is my #1 Hero................................... Mother to Son~~
by Langston Hughes...Well, son, I'll tell you:
Life for me ain't been no crystal stair.
It's had tacks in it,
And splinters,
And boards torn up,
And places with no carpet on the floor—
Bare.
But all the time
I'se been a-climbin' on,
And reachin' landin's,
And turnin' corners,
And sometimes goin' in the dark
Where there ain't been no light.
So, boy, don't you turn back.
Don't you set down on the steps.
'Cause you finds it's kinder hard.
Don't you fall now—
For I'se still goin', honey,
I'se still climbin',
And life for me ain't been no crystal stair....."PEOPLE SHOW YOU WHO THEY ARE, BELIEVE THEM."
