Survived an overly sexually active
adolescence in Key West... Divorced my mom, attended a Jesuit
college on academic scholarship. Went on Christmas break,
won a wet t-shirt contest at Sloppy Joes, became a
tease... a strip tease... Danced for Mike Ditka, husbands, wives,
weirdos, frat boys, stars, bible school professors, and a
thousand bachelors heading to honeymoon in Hawaii.
Bought a couple of Porsches, a couple BMWs and racked up 23 speeding
tickets before I was 22. classic rebel without a cause, shredding
tickets and throwing them out the sunroof. Lost my
license in 3 states. spent time ducking the law...
Concerts were my thing, 300+ shows, the grateful dead to jimmy buffet
and fleetwood mac (what a great comeback show) NIN & lollapalooza,
to yanni, sade, seal. Madonna & U2 to The Rolling Stones and
Limp Bizkit... On stage with Prince. Bowling with Metallica... backstage and party passes galore, and an arrest (or two) for ticket scalping.
5 pounds of mushrooms and an MBA. A move to Chicago and a loft
in the Loop. A back turned on an ad agency career and a
year alone in Thailand... rock climbing, diving, watching very crazy sex shows,
learning to communicate in Thai and great $15 yoga massages.Followed by a year in SoBe, dancing all night long, geltabs, and
hosting wicked house parties.
Took a boat to Cuba, danced salsa until dawn, hitchhiked to Vinales to ride horses in the mountains, and tilled a field with an ox.
Thought... I'd sell airplanes... got my pilot's licence, commercial, flight
instructor hell, all the ratings and some flying upside down in Key
West (wasn't it 5 feet above the sea? ha.)
Flew into the marketing director position at a
flight school, met my husband, flirted outrageously, married 3 weeks later
in Vegas. Raced Ferraris, snow mobiles
& jet skis Moved to the Caribbean & bought my first
airplane. Became global VP marketing of B2B marketing firm
woke up and was 30. Sold plane one Bought plane two
and flew from the US to Ireland Lived there for a year for
business; went back to the islands for a year and misplaced my marriage. damn, can't find it anywhere?!?!?
Next?!?! in transition, stay tuned, but one thing is for sure... I'll be living life to the fullest, staying true to myself, and maximizing positive energy!
