About Me

I'm like a one man band nowadays. Though it all started in primary school when I was a pianoplayer, and later, the rythm-guitarist in a four man group we called the Map. Some of the members had parents who lived in houses or bungalows and our rehearsals used to take place in their living rooms. I grew up in the north suburbs of Stockholm and people from the cool south used to think all of us were snobs. Narrowminded southerners, what are you so proud of?The Map became the Pirates and my parents left the old block of flats and moved to a more posh area in the same suburb. Suddenly I was in a punk band with new friends. The rich neighborhood must have hated us. Stupid kids yelling about Cold War, Animal Liberation and the Sick Society every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. And the years passed by. I studied classical piano but payed more and more attention to my electric guitar. I tried to be the singer in a heavy metal band, but... hey... I didn't like their style I wanted to be a mod! But the mod culture didn't exist in Sollentuna, Stockholm, in the late 80's. My musical taste was banned in secondary school. The Indie-scene surely made the world a little better a few years later.I've played with some other different groups, which you haven't heard of either. For a short period, jazz-funk was the thing. Our songs could last for 30 minutes and they always ended in a hell of a groove. Now I'm alone. Again. Living in the middle of nowhere. No members in my band anymore. No neighbours can hear me play. So hey! I can do whatever I want. "All the instruments are in my hand, gonna leave this wicked land tonight". (Quotation from another of my somewhat 38 pop classics).I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
