A few years ago I picked up a camera and began to do something I've always wanted to do....create images.Most of my work is a curious mix of film noir and dark eroticism with a bit of fetish and pin-up thrown in. A bulk of my images are based on Detective Magazine/Mystery paperback covers of the 60's, 70's and 80's. I'm heavily influenced by the work of Guy Bourdin.

I was watching television like everyone was on 9/11. A camera crew found a lone fireman gearing up to head into the WTC. The reporter on the scene asked him "Why are you going back in there?" He responded, "My guys are in there." The reporter said something like "But it doesn't look really safe." The fireman responded, "It doesn't matter and I hope that if you were in my position you would do the same."I don't know that fireman's name. He might have made it. He might have been one of the 393. Either way, he is also someone I consider a hero.
