Frenchie

I've got this energy beneath my feet, like something underground's gonna come up and carry me.

About Me

I have decided to take bigger risks in life. Instead of overanalyzing everything, I am just going for it. I love people-watching. I love working hard. I am trying to make better connections with people. I am trying to cut out all of the unnecessary things in my life. I am fascinated with the English lexicon. I can't get enough of reference books- dictionaries, thesauruses, almanacs, quote books... I love history and antique maps. Music has been my true love for as long as I can remember. There are few things better in life than a really great kiss.
"I am not afraid of storms , for I am learning how to sail my ship."
"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."
"Most men pursue pleasure with such breathless haste that they hurry past it."
"It pays to be obvious, especially if you have a reputation for subtlety."
"The least of learning is done in the classrooms."
"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."
"Laughter is the closest distance between two people."
"We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered."
"Sometimes it is harder to deprive oneself of a pain than of a pleasure."
"We think in generalities, but we live in detail."
"Happiness is always a by-product. It is probably a matter of temperament, and for anything I know it may be glandular. But it is not something that can be demanded from life, and if you are not happy you had better stop worrying about it and see what treasures you can pluck from your own brand of unhappiness."
