My kids - Lynn and Ani, crazy little people who keep me hopeful
days off - I'm pretty simple: like to drink and party with my friends. Loud music, dancing around, and general debauchery.
literature - all the super forms thereof
all kinds of movies - seriously appreciate a classic though
i run on tea, and supplement with coffee
good bottle of wine at night - starts all kinds of good things
exercise - I'm a ball of kinetic energy, woosh!
cooking - this is a little experimental, ha, but i dig it
psychology and neuroscience - where my thoughts live most of the time
art - everything is art, but particularly architecture, diego rivera murals, sculpture (degas), and photography that isn't ansel adams
philosophy - nietzsche and camus fight it out, descartes had me up until he tried to prove the existance of god
linux - i'm inclined to vouch for slackware and red hat
egyptology - everyone needs a hobby. this can start me babbling
theology - that pesky business about god. i hate to fight but love to wonder
math and science - which makes up everything, and specifically the elegance of quantum physics, string theory, and schrodinger's cat
satire, acceptance, patience, and sleep (that's where I'm a viking!) - are the basic tenets of my makeup
final fantasy, programming, and especially star trek - because i'm a huge damn nerd
hockey (go canes!) - because i'm a huge contradiction
body art
dancing - this is probably a fault
politics - being aware is a privilege we don't always get, and this hurts my head.
activism - globalaware.org, amnesty.org, freetibet.org, planned parenthood
and basically just wondering. I live very much in my head, and play around in yours.
I have no interest in meeting people who are-
fickle,
ignorant,
cruel,
closed-minded,
liars,
parasitic,
or into mind games.
If you want to be my friend, be my friend. I'll call you friend, same as I would anyone, unless they prove different, in which case I'd belt em with Bessie, which is what I call my stick. ^_^ If you want to just sleep with me, be up front about that. If you say you love me, remember that love should never be forced.
I'm sick of second guessing people's intentions, so if you can't be as blunt with me as I'll be with you, scamper off.
Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you - Richard Bachwhat i'd really love is to meet someone that i never have to say "present company excluded" to. if i was talking about you, i would say, "you, idiot. you're the problem." damn, that's frustrating.
