I'm a middle-aged techno-dork named Barry McBride (aka "ArtBtz" to you old timers) who started a website to protest the theft of the Cleveland Browns from my hometown in 1995. Now, for some reason, that website has turned into The Orange and Brown Report , the largest community of Browns fans anywhere, with over 9,000 fans having posted on our message boards. The OBR is a credentialed media outlet for independent Cleveland Browns news and information, syndicated through FoxSports.com , with a monthly magazine, and a weekly radio program . We're always trying to reach out to Browns fans around the world. Come and join us on the forums !

My Interests

Always looking to meet more Browns fans! That's the best thing about being involved with the OBR!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with an extra beer they don't know what to do with.

Music:

Cleveland has always had a thriving music scene, and the area has been a place where bands like Pere Ubu, Devo, Nine Inch Nails and many others had their roots. If you're a local band, we'd like to check out your tunes.

Movies:

Bleeding Brown and Orange - A Cleveland Tradition. A good recap for what it's like to be a Browns fan, made all the better because footage of the 2005 OBR Draft Party was overexposed and an interview where I blathered drunkenly was left on the cutting room floor.

Television:

24, The Point After, Cleveland Rants, etc

Books:

Legends by the Lake, Browns: A to Z, False Start, Tales from the Browns Sideline

Heroes:

All the Browns fans who rallied to fight Art Modell and the NFL back in 1995-6!!!

Browns News-o-Rama: 1/28

I'm not sure which is more grim: today's newswire or the depressing prospect that Meet the Spartans was tops at this weekend's box office. The former is a consequence of the calendar year. The latt...

Not a lot of new information on the newswire today, as the local media isn't making a big fuss out of the Browns price increase, some mainstream folks note that the Browns have sent some offers...

Browns News-o-Rama: 1/24

Even with the Senior Bowl practices in full swing, things seem a bit slow around the NFL. Not even endless discussions about Tom Brady's foot can fill the hours. Perhaps it's because the Browns don't ...

OBR News-o-Rama: 12/19

Alright, so it's an evening edition rather than a morning edition. Frankly, the News-o-Rama was scared to be next to a John Taylor post in the Muni Lot, so I had to wait for a tdc video to show...
