Misleading Music by our very own:
HIP-HOP music is not PUNJABI music. Words in HIP-HOP music are there to support that song, so if our very own (famous) punjabi (myspace) dj's are mixing them together, you are spoling the reputation of PUNJABI / BHANGRA music. BHANGRA is actually the birth of HIP-HOP music if you ever come to think of it. Our vocal abilities are almost identical to HIP-HOP but BHANGRA music dates way back to 1950's and is ahead of any musical composition in the world today.
HIP-HOP music has a history of it own. People who listen to it, give it the respect it deserves.
What I'm trying to do here is create music which will incorporate traditional folk BHANGRA style into to the modern world using HIP-HOPand this process has a trendy name called FUSION.
One last note, knowledge of Punjabi history offers important insights into the meaning of the music so look into it if your interested.
