Wanna cat? No. Really. Wanna cat?

About Me

I am very happy. It's really good to be able to say that. Some day I'll write more details - suffice to say that I've got a great partner, a great step-daughter and a job that I really like. We also just bought a really terrific house and someday I'll have time to garden in the back yard. Eventually there will be details. Harass me if you want to.

My Interests

Yay! I have time to be interested in things again! What do I actually do? Work, cook, sleep and hang out on MySpace. Does swearing at cats count as an interest? That's something that I do a lot. Geez. Apparently I need a hobby. Maybe standing in a bike store and sneezing?

I'd like to meet:

The kind of people that leave witty comments for lazy friends who haven't done anything to their profiles in ages.

Movies:

Geez. Someday I'll see a movie again. I haven't even had time for Netflix.

Television:

Our TV hasn't been plugged in since we moved into the new house in May. I went through a brief withdrawl from procedural crime dramas, but other than that I haven't missed it.

Books:

Check out Kelly Braffet's book Last Seen Leaving!

Well, thats done.

"They" (damn them) say that a girl's wedding is supposed to be the best day of her life. I was skeptical about this because, among other things, they also told me that high school was supposed to be ...

I totally swore that this wouldn't happen...

...but I have become totally consumed by this wedding. Consumed is the perfect word for it too - on one hand, it's mine and it rocks. On the other hand, it kinda ate my life. I've always been gener...
