When New Wave came out it was apparantly as fabricated as New Rave, so cool people like Richard Hell and Lydia Lunch invented No Wave to counter it - according to my book "The Idiot's Guide To No Wave". However! SLOWGUN have that No Wave vibe, but because they are literally a new band, does that mean they are New No Wave? Aaaarghhhh!!

BAND
Toni is from London. She grew up in east end schools listening to others listening to Oasis and the Backstreet Boys!! She found the pixies while playing in her old band The Cardboard Cut-outs in secondary school and is now a mad fan of anything Kim deal... innit.
Piers is from the countrysideÂ....scary innit. He is from a big house all on its own outside Worcester, where sheep get electrocuted on a regular basis in stormy weather. Piers also plays in another band called Econoline .
Stef is originally from a town in the south of Italy called Taranto, where aliens from the war of the worlds landed to take over the world! They landed in London too!! Stef started playing bass in her old band Querelle , she plays Phat bass because phat bass rules. Stef also plays in another band called
Raul plays drums with [pockets] and previously These Hands. He plays and studies poker and has big ambitions to go to Las Vegas to compete professionally
