Bass

About Me

Born in Cordoba (Rio Cuarto), Argentina. As a kid I started playing argentinian folk songs with a nylon string guitar.... In the early '90s, I picked up playing e-bass. At that time I studied e-bass in a small music school for popular music in Cordoba and also did two years at the Cordoba's National University studying classical composition. In 2001 I decided to continue with my things abroad. I was admitted into the Jazz Department of the Amsterdam Conservatory to follow a full 4 years study program. There I took regular e-bass lessons with David de Mares Oyenz and Theo de Jong, doublebass with Arnold Dooyeweerd and Charlie Angenois, and attended to masterclasses/workshops from Scott Colley, Avishail Cohen, Steve Baley, Richard Bona, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Michell Hatzigeorgiou, Ari Hoening among others. Once I graduated in 2005 I moved to Vienna, Austria where, at the moment, Im playing with some nice fellas I've met around here and I take doublebass lessons at the Bruckner University (Linz) with Adelhard Roidinger and Peter Herbert. Here you can here some of the different projects I've been involved with...
