Stepping up out of the ashes of Farpoint ( “First Light,” Grace” and “Dreaming to Dreaming” ) Clark Boone has once again joined forces with long time friend and musician-songwriter, Buddy Harre to form “Verchiel Reality”- a “No holds barred” Progressive Art Rock project, where anything is possible. “We do what we do!” “We first met in 1968 in what would become know as the ‘Johnny West Incident’,” Said Boone. The two met again in 1975, became best friends, began collaborating on songs and so embarked on their musical journey together. In 1980 they formed “Masquerade” and have been playing on and off together in bands ever since. After many years (and bands!) they have arrived back at square one and are ready to push each other to write their best songs ever. The band’s name comes from Verchiel, the guardian angel of those born under the astrological sign of Leo the Lion. Since Clark and Buddy are both Leos they felt it only fitting to incorporate Verchiel in the band’s name, as a nod to their commonality. Verchiel encourages individuals to take time for leisure, observe what had been achieved and to play and replenish energy. He also urges one to be objective and weed out any unhealthy or unproductive elements. In addition, Verchiel aids in affection, nobility and a generous heart. All these things were key elements in the formation of the band. “But so what?” say Buddy and Clark” It’s not about angels or signs or religion. It’s about people. It’s about life and love. And right now- the Music is all that matters!”
