DON'T STOP ME NOW

About Me

Margaret K. Ricco, known as Maggie. Half Mexican. Wordsmith. A nerd of overwhelming proportions, considered eccentric beyond acceptable levels. Believes herself a cyborg. Likes to read comic books, dance shamelessly at any given opportunity, and write (dirty) stories. Infatuated with the organic beast, Internet, and spends a great deal of time with it creating websites, feeling connected, and assimilating information. Prefers literature of the erotic, hard-boiled, and science-fiction types. Obsesses over fictional characters, other cyborgs, androids, futurism, and the human condition. Senses life may in fact be absurd, but remains a sort of shell-shocked optimist. Values passion, action, and truth to self. Is drawn to the bittersweet. Thinks too damn much. Often wishes she was crazy as a means to action. Believes in pushing all limits, considering pain, self-doubt, and unrest true aspects of being human. Only recently found out what existentialism was.
Enjoys riding her bike (Kuririn), high fives, anime, talking in other languages, and dressing up like fictional characters when she has the time to make the costumes. Likes the color orange best, although she's been wearing lots of gray and purple lately. Makes sense of her horoscope and believes her astrological sign, Gemini, to be true to her character. Dislikes sitting all day and prefers to run, bike, and grapple, injured knees permitting. Lives alone but needs to socialize. Has the mind of an oversexed 12 year old boy. Dislikes pants. Has ambitions greater than she can currently comprehend, just that they are there, restless. Must go to Japan. Needs money for tattoos. Attracted to humor, confidence, muscular, veiny arms and hands, and an easy smile. Philly girl to the hardest core.
Hasn't even been to college yet . Is going to Temple University! Implores you read (and listen to) her stories, which are posted for easy access in the blog above, or more comprehensively below, at Cyborg Memoirs . Runs the Philadelphia street style blog, Broad&Market . Is toying with this utopia/dystopia blog for her New Media class. Has a weak spoken word myspace page right here. Also asks that you click on the other links to her creative outlets, provided below. Much love and data transfer.
