About Me

First and foremost, I'd like to welcome y'all to Mog's little corner of Tom-wat-a-great-guy's "my space", where a community of time-honored artists continue to author influence and inspiration to the fresh and promising indies that hang out here, or is it the other way around sometimes? hmmm... You'll probably have to come back time and again coz the site changes as more industry peeps find their way here, in the meantime put up ur feet and get to know the amazing people on this site. You know, it's one thing to be adored by the public and recurrently it's another matter to be respected by your peers. Now, we all cognize that there's an awful lot of deserving musicians out there that need to get around that elusive, proverbial "corner", so, part of the mandate here at Mog's is to lend a hand, and NO, I don't want your stinkin' money for nothin'. As per the great Stevie Wonder...."that's what friends are for!",...furthermore, it is written, "there is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving"....Acts 20:35. I might ask of u instead, to make a positive difference in this world of ours with ur music. Anyways, apart from providing you with unfeigned reviews and a one-stop access to each other for support, ideas, exposure, and inspiration, we've invited the major labels, managers, publishers, studios, producers, A&R people, scooters, and radio stations as our esteemed guests, so let's "big up" nowamsayn? ...Some of you, with "CHARISMA", Stephane calls the "X-Factor", will knock on doors and may not get in, this doesn't always mean no, sometimes it just means not now, sound familiar? Not only "star quality", but a squadron of other attributes are needed to accompany "animal magnetism", some of which are: world-class talent, common sense, marketability(that's a tough pill to swallow), the right attitude, ability to focus, maturity, resourcefulness, and reliability, remember, nothing good comes easy......nowamsayn? On the lighter side, and randomly, YOUR music (we respond to requests) will spin on my player on a regular basis, sooo...if you happen to hear something you like, you may be inclined to do the right thing, show some love for that artist, but keep most of it for me...hehe, add them to your friend's list and let them know how you appreciate their art. Remember, we are here for each other, you never know when a friend can find an opportunity to show YOU some love back... Weekly, we honor one of YOU as our "Feature Artist", check who's on top of our top friend's list and that's who it is for that given week, again, to direct praiseworthy attention to YOUR drudgery since YOU work so arduously at it. Random bulletins then go out to make the populace hip to such respect.....Ok, that's about all I've got to say about that, in closing, I'd like to say, from the nethermost of my heart, good looks on the love y'all..I appreciate it 4-real. a
