About Me

Stardate 2008. For already eighteen years now the SKA TREK crew has been been cruising around the ellipses in the infinite space of the galaxies. Their mission is clear: to preserve reggae and ska riddims Their message: high spirits.Their songs range from the hits of the old times of ska to the periods of slower rocksteady. They play songs of Toots & the Maytals, Prince Buster, Jackie Opel and Skatalites to name but a few. The captain's log book lists innumerable support acts for international ska heroes. And what was on deck then? Well gigs, at festivals and clubbing tours throughout Germany and Switzerland. Ska Trek left marks on three 7'' single from which one, "Drink Milk", was released on Grover Records. They took space on several samplers and a nice 10". But to really beam into orbit they produced their own studio session LP and CD on Grover Records: Move Along! Nevertheless, you ought to see them live and direct to know what it..s all about.more informations and facts ...http://www.skatrek.de..
