My Interests

Music first and above all: I listen to it (PLENTY of it), I play in a band, I write reviews for www.movimentiprog.net, I listen to loads of stuff... Then rugby (CUS Padova and the Greenock Wandies are MY teams), tarot reading (I have plenty of decks - although I mostly focus on my Raider-Waite deck), the paranormal, books, movies, some kind of comics. And playing the fool. A pretty average person, really. All Blacks

I'd like to meet:

My friends on the other side of the Atlantic! And then a nice list of people going from the Big Yin (yes, Billy Connolly) to Sir Sean Connery, touching Stephen King and Ringo Starr (the only one, the immortal), Neve Campbell and Lucy Pinder (yes), the True and Only Kevin Smith and His Majesty Terry Pratchett, the Poet (with a capital P) Neil Gaiman and JK Rowling, a bunch of rugby greats - namely "Uncle Fester" Keith Wood, "Juggernaut" Jonah Lomu, Carl Hayman and Richard Loe, and yes, "the Fun Bus" Jason Leonard and "Big Mouth" Oz Healey. Then let me mention Alexi Lalas (man, his albums are amazing) and the Boss Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen and David Bowie, Billy Boyd, Gary Sinise, Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill.

Music:

SO many...

See my friends list for most of them, at least on a "local" basis. But still. If I need to start listing the "big" ones, well... Beatles Beatles BeatlesB%ze - Hellogoodbye - Iron Maiden - 15 Times Dead - Transatlantic - Dream Theater - Johnny Cash - Metallica - Pain of Salvation - Spock's Beard - Tom Waits - Simon & Garfunkel - Savatage - Queen - Fish - Ben & Jason - Ozzy Osbourne - David Berkeley - Fabrizio De André - DoNpHoBiA - Shane McGowan - Bruce Springsteen - Wow Why Wow - They Might Be Giants - Leonard Cohen - Dave Galera - Levellers - Ben Parker - Willie Oteri - Alessandro Grazian - Del Amitri - Enjoint - Bruce Dickinson - Soul Asylum - A Perfect Circle - Marillion - Héroes del Silencio - The Pogues - David Bowie - Enrique Bunbury - Marea - Litfiba - Phil Ochs - Ligabue - Francesco Guccini - Green Day - Albertucho - Megadeth - Modena City Ramblers - Alexi Lalas - Magenta - Brychan - Good Morning Boy - Estra - Libra - Fruttetiriarsi - Northpole Who am I forgetting?

Movies:

My absolute favourites are... well, many. Every movie in the View Askewniverse, first and foremost. Yes, including Mallrats and even Jersey Girl. Then: Dead Poets Society; The Debt Collector; Radiofreccia; The Big Lebowski; Nightmare Before Christmas; Dogville; everything by the Monty Pythons... and horror movies. Possibly decent ones.

Television:

I don't watch much but sometimes I give up to my lowest instincts and I lurk stuff like The Weakest Link, Eggheads or - much more rarely - Millionaire.

Books:

Terry Pratchett's Discworld series; almost everything Stephen King wrote; Watership Down (YES, best book ever); all the Harry Potter books; Stark by Ben Elton; Neil Gaiman's Sandman (OK, it's a COMIC book, but don't be anal. Or I ain't allowed to write "anal" here? Oh, screw them. Oh shite, I wrote "screw". And I could go on forever).

Heroes:

There's only one person I can really think of as an hero Well, andThen, if you want some "childhood heroes" and "favourite characters"... here you go, and the list will be constantly updated: Dylan Dog; Batman; The Crow; The Sandman; Bruce Dickinson; Jonah Lomu; Groucho Marx; Jay and Silent Bob (well, mainly SB); David Campese. (yes, there IS more to come, sooner or later)
