Bleeding A Zombie sounds like a band you should be scared of. That's not the case. Mostly. This is a band you should be in awe of. Bristling with power and fascination and finding new approaches to musical expression, Bleeding A Zombie describes itself as an experimental industrial and “techtronic” band. Lavishing huge doses of creativity and uninhibited conceptualizing on its songs, Bleeding A Zombie is a band that gets inside your head, bounces around and gives you a new way of looking at things musically.
Young and Free
When it comes right down to it, Bleeding A Zombie's music is about finding the heart of life. Shooting a few sacred cows, celebrating life in all its detail and spectrum, exploring freedom of the human spirit, finding inner (and outer) vigor. Or, as the band likes to put it, it's about feeling “young, free and like a fully filled Twinkie”. Dead serious about music (so to speak) but tongue firmly in cheek, Bleeding A Zombie approaches life and songwriting with infectious zest that spills over from the speakers and infects (so to speak, again) the listener.
Fun
It all boils down to fun. Enjoyment. Taking pleasure from life. “It's just entertainment, people, lighten up!” The one thing you should truly take seriously is getting the most enjoyment out of life. It's short, so make the most of it. Sprinkled all throughout Bleeding A Zombie's compelling and thoroughly entertaining music is an obvious sense of fun informing the experimentation. This is music that will surprise and delight you and maybe make you open your mind just a tad.
Work
Bleeding A Zombie is laboring away in the studio and writing music for fans to devour (...) and is also planning a tour for spring/summer 2007.
