Thanks for stopping by...I appreciate it very much. I am networking to find like minded and motivated people who love Jesus and feel called to His service. You never know the treasure a person holds until you meet them. That is why I have contacted you if you are wondering...smile
Well...about my interests. I have so many interests...but so little time to do them. I used to scuba dive...and would like to again if I could find someone to go with (world probably have to get re-certified). I am very interested in travel. Particularly in China...I would also like a travel companion...preferably one who can translate.
I am interested in exploring something different and out of the norm...burning man comes to mind. I value intelligent and original people. What I do not like are those who judge and pigeon hole people without seeing what is under the hood. I am really a lot more open than my "Christian" label might suggest.
We would like to meet men and women who are on fire for Jesus and called to do mission work.
I want to share with you my spiritual vision for Africa as it pertains to the Micro Orphanage ministry. I believe that, Lord willing, we are on the verge of a major revival in that area of the world. Furthermore, if we will have the faith to prepare ourselves God will certainly grant us a significant role in this new wave of His Holy Spirit.
To begin with, Islam is poised to take over much of Africa. Well funded and well organized it is steadily making inroads within many Sub Saharan countries Like Kenya and Nigeria. Once a country turns predominantly Muslim it usually severely restricts or no longer allows freedom to preach Christianity. Furthermore, many times the Muslim majority persecutes Christian believers until they are either marginalized or forced to flee for their lives.
Secondly, the AIDS pandemic has hit Africa like a tidal wave of death and shows no signs of letting up. Though there have been reports of decreasing HIV infection rates in some areas the overall prevalence of HIV is continuing to rise across the continent. Even the introduction of cheaper antiviral drugs is problematic because of the extreme difficulty of distributing the medicine in rural areas. The bottom line is that we will still see literally millions of children become orphaned in the next 10 to 20 years. This is a generation at risk and God is asking today, "who will go?"
My overall vision is to draw and spiritual line at the Sub Saharan countries and help halt the spread of Islam through the Micro Orphanage program. In the countries that are not yet predominantly Muslim I propose that we raise up tens of thousands of orphaned children presenting them to our Lord as potential servants for His kingdom. Not only will we give these children Christ centered homes through our orphanages but we will all teach them to "listen, hear, and obey on time" the voice of our God. Thus, as God leads, they will be able to be moved by His Holy Spirit in ways we can't yet imagine to shape their countries for Christ.
I believe that teaching thousands of young adults how to listen, hear, and obey on time what the Holy Spirit says will be a very powerful tool in the hands of God for changing the nations in which they live. They will have no cultural barriers such as language or race to deal with because they are native born . They will be able to be led by the Holy Spirit in new ways, which are uniquely African, allowing them to make progress in areas where westerners have been largely ineffective. Throughout their lives (even into their future generations) they will have a ripple effect within the spheres of their influence producing a fundamental and far-reaching change for God's kingdom. Our vision is to provide the raw material for God to raise up a generation of new wave missionaries that, while looking very little like present day missionaries, will manifest the power of God on an truly awesome scale.
Many of these new wave missionaries will be used of God to stem the tide of Islam in Africa and in years to come even reverse it as they evangelize the Muslim North. To this present day the church is largely ineffective in their efforts to convert Muslim believers because we are bogged down by our Christian dogma. It is obvious that God wants to do something new in order to bring our Islamic brethren into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I believe that this will be accomplished through a move of "Messianic Muslim believers" whom God will raise up through African Holy Spirit led missionaries that are willing to do anything that some might be saved.
In order to accomplish such a momentous task I wish to gather Christian believers that feel called to dedicate their lives to raise up these children for God's glory. I believe that it will be necessary for our leadership to enter into and experience the spiritual fulfillment of the feast of Tabernacles. As an apostle, I we do my best to lead those who are willing into fulfillment of this third and final feast. Those who wish to raise these orphaned children must come into spiritual oneness with God in order to be able to impart this new wave of His Spirit to them. Also, this divine love will allow the leadership to work in divine unity. As we become one with God we will become one with each other and as His body we will move as one.
This "new wave" missions will focus on going beyond our present day Christian experience and doctrine in order to bring about a significant new work of God among the African people. We will be radically lead and trained to do whatever needs to be done, however it needs to be done, whenever it needs to be done in order that some might be saved. Raw Christianity like the book of Acts is our vision and goal. Our aim is to impart a Spirit and a vision to the orphans of Africa that will outlast and outlive us. It begins with us and we must step into the fullness of the gospel and go the distance, fully entering into oneness with God so that He might literally live His life through us. Though it will cost us literally everything we will surely hear, "well done my good and faithful servants!"
You have got to ask yourself the question, "what am I doing today that will make a difference for eternity?" I know that some who read this message will feel pricked in their hearts and desire to become a part of what God is doing in this ministry. You are the ones who truly desire to sell all and follow Jesus. If God has pointed to you and you have said "here am I, send me" then act on the voice of God in your life and be a doer of His word with all due diligence. The day God calls is the day He wants you to come. Without hesitation the disciples accepted the call of Jesus and left all that they had to follow Him. Interestingly enough, it is they who wrote the New Testament. Are you ready for such glory too? It is but a decision away.
We must work while it is yet light for the time of freedom to preach and teach the gospel is fast coming to a close in many of these Sub Saharan countries. Children are dying without the knowledge of Jesus Christ simply because no one is there to show them His love. Is not this cause set before us worth fighting for? Shall we let the Devil dam a entire generation simply because we are apathetic? I say a thousand times no and we, by the grace of almightily God, are going to do something about it. I invite you, who truly want to make a difference and are ready to step out on the water to come. Be a part of something that will make a difference in the kingdom of God and lives of countless kids across Africa for eternity.
The question that remains is...what will you do?
God bless,
Michael
