SYNOPSIS: After eight years, a young woman reluctantly goes back to her small hometown for her best friends wedding. When the memories of an experience she had with another woman during high school resurface, her present starts to unravel.
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT: This film operates on two levels. One is about regret and that one conversation you wish you'd had with someone; whether it would have changed the course of your life. The other is about sexuality and internalized homophobia. I thought it was important to tell a story that wasn't about "being gay" but could move past that and deal with a complex individual through her fears, desires and ultimate choices. This is that story.
SAMANTHA LAVIN: This is Samantha's third film. She has written several feature and television scripts which have won recognition at competitions including Outfest, Scriptapalooza and American Accolades. Currently she is an Assistant Director on film and television projects and is raising money for the feature version of this film.
