I'm Hal.
Real name Hal, a 24 year old emcee hailing originally from Northern Scotland before emigrating to Yorkshire, England. I'm Hal has featured on numerous radio stations across the UK, including BBC Radio Leeds, Sheffield, York, Humberside, BBC Asian Network, Newstyle Radio and Perth FM amongst others. The wordsmith has also performed live broadcasts at Edinburgh’s Make Poverty History Road Show in the summer of '04 and can claim to be the inaugural winner of National Literature Championships held in Liverpool.
In 2006 Hal released his debut EP ‘Emcees Emcee’ a 7 track project featuring the vocal talents of amongst others: ‘Kosyne’ (Soulthump/Speakers Corner/The Soul Trader EP) and ‘Script’ (Inscriptive Records/Case Closed Records). Production from ‘D’ (BBE Records) and ‘Battle Me’. The ‘Emcees Emcee’ is currently available on CD.
