Meredith Nicole Banks, professionally known as Meredith, is a native of Little Rock, AR. The talented 23 year-old began singing at age 7 and, since then, has become one of the most prolific up-and-coming young female artists in the South. She has penned an extensive catalogue of honey-dipped melodies, three of which are featured on her 2005 debut entitled Introducing... Meredith. The first song, Happy, is a proclamation of the happiness one feels when they experience the unconditional love of God. The urban/pop style of Son Shine mirrors the elation of a natural high as youre kissed by the son and embraced by the thought of warm rays of hope and faith. She has been featured on several hits, including Caleb tha Bridges Spiritual Therapy, and as the 2005 Memphis Idol winner, has been featured on Fox 13 Good Morning Memphis, as well as on The Morning Show of FM 100.
