**DON'T FORGET TO MAKE YOUR CALLS FOR PRETTY BABY**
My goal is to get Eric to the Number 1 status by promoting his Hurricane CD at ANY and EVERY opportunity I get!
…ALWAYS REMEMBER HELPING OTHERS IS A BLESSING IN ITSELF…
"BACK DOWN MEMORY LANE"
Don't forget to stop by Eric's personal page/fan page. Also, stop by the Official Eric Benét Music Page†where I moderate all of Eric's great music. We'll see you there!!
I am a big "Soap Fan" and love checking in on my favorite soap stories on "One Life To Live" and "General Hospital". I have been a big fan of soaps since I was a little girl. They seem to get more and more interesting year after year.
Kamar De Los Reyes
is definitely my favorite soap actor. He plays "Antonio Vega" on "One Life To Live". I can honestly say from my own personal experiences through correspondence with Kamar that he is just as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside!! He's so wonderful to talk with, friendly and down to earth!
When it comes to "General Hospital" ...All I can say is the storylines have been spectacular! They recently did one that had to do with hostages being taken over by bad guys at a local hotel...with a briefcase as the reason for the "invasion". However, the briefcase was locked in a vault that would explode in 12 hours if the code wasn't put in. Guess what...the one person who can save everyone just had brain surgery and doesn't remember the last 3 digits to the 6-digit code. Now what are the odds of that? The real fun is that the writers have done the storyline in an "after/before setting"...like the hit show "24". It's been very interesting to see the outcome before how it started. Kudos to the writers, as this was a first for daytime television soaps!!
I love me some Maurice Benard too. His character Michael "Sonny" Corinthos Jr. ain't no joke!! Remember long ago when he was "Nico" on "All My Children"? (Nico and Cecily story line)...
James Lesure
In my spare time I also run James Lesure's Fan Group.
Click to join jameslesurefangroup
James plays the cool and suave "MIKE CANNON" on the hit NBC Friday night show "LAS VEGAS", which has been picked up for another season...their 5th!!. James also plays on "For Your Love", which airs in syndication on TV One with Holly Robinson-Peete. (Check your local listings for times). I have to say that James is very down to earth and a humble man. He is very charming and witty, and most of all appreciates his fans. James was a whole lot of fun in a recent online chat we had with his fan group. James was very honest and open to his fan group members, and they can't wait to have another opportunity to chat with this dynamic man again!
So...come join the fan group and have some fun!!
I'd like to meet:

Me and some of Eric's band members in Riviera, Florida (March of 2006) for the Riviera Jazz Festival after opening my gifts. Ummm...yeah...they're crazy (in a good way). Guess who was the ring leader? :)
Highlight of my surprise trip:
Eric planting a big fat kiss on me in front of the "ENTIRE" audience on the beach. (On the cheek... *sigh*) I never saw so many women with cell phone cameras all up in our grills. He put on an awesome show! And of course, he danced his ass off...Dang!! Hanging out with EB at breakfast, him eating "MY LUNCH" (BBQ Ribs) and just cold chillin'...Definitely one of my many great EB experiences. There's never a dull moment! Thanks EB!!!!!

'HURRICANE' CD...in stores now!
MY DEDICATION TO ERIC
DOME OF THE ROCK: THE ARCHITECT
Eric...I came across this beautiful picture of this exquisite building called 'Dome of the Rock' built in Jerusalem, Israel 684.
WhenI saw the title... I immediately thought of you. Your 'Dome' (meaning your brain) is your building where all your creativity lies.
With all architects---the building comes from one singular idea and from that mere thought into a sketch then formed from one piece of clay...molded and shaped into the creation set forth to build.
This building to me depicts beauty and strength...and a place for those to go to for peace.
With you---like an architect---your 'Dome' holds that 1st thought...that 1st melody...that 1st word.
Once you sketch out what your song is in your 'Dome', you release the words and collaborate them with chords.
You allow us to experience your masterful creations by releasing them for all the world to witness in its beauty and brilliance.
There is a place many people come to dwell...and it's your place...your space...your music.
We all come together from so many different nationalities and differences to share in one common ground...YOU.
Eric...you have and will continue to bless us with your knowledge, wisdom, inspiration, openness, and healing through your music...all in the name of love.
Happily we dwell in your place... a safe place for so many to find shelter from our own "HURRICANE'S".
You are the architect of extraordinaire talent and class...DON'T CHANGE.

KAMAR'S BIOGRAPHY
From playing trumpet alongside Dizzy Gillespie to performing opposite Patrick Stewart in the Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park production of “The Tempest†directed by George C. Wolfe - Kamar de los Reyes has crafted a musical and acting career as rich and complex as the syncopated rhythms of his Latin roots.
Recently awarded the HOLA Jose Ferrer Tespis Award, given to actors in mid-career for their achievements. He was honored alongside CNN's Soledad O'Brian and Danny Rivera, world famous troubador. Kamar was also chosen as one of PEOPLE En Espanol's 25 sexiest bachelor's alongside Enrique Iglesias, Wilmer Valderrama and Enrique Murciano. Kamar de los Reyes has been known by millions of fans for several years as Antonio Vega on the ABC drama “One Life to Live†but has steadily performed alongside a virtual who's who in television, movies, stage, and music for over a decade in a wide range of projects.
Most recently Kamar stars in the indie film “Love and Suicideâ€(2005). Here Kamar portrays Tomas, a distraught New Yorker who travels to Cuba with the intention of taking his life but ends up falling in love and rediscovering his ancestral roots. “Love and Suicide†screened in July 2005 at the American Black Film Festival in Miami, Florida, to rave reviews and was featured on the front page of “The Miami Herald†and “The Sun Sentinel.†“Love and Suicide†may be the first American feature film made in Cuba since Fidel Castro's revolution in 1959. “It was a labor of love and a film that I am extremely proud of,†says de los Reyes.
De los Reyes also stars opposite Roselyn Sanchez in the Puerto Rican feature film “Cayoâ€(2005) set to be released in the fall. In “Cayo†Kamar portrays the young Ivan who is forced to leave his beloved island of Puerto Rico to fight in the Vietnam War only to return and find that everything has changed. “I've been very fortunate this year not only to be a part of two wonderful projects but to get a chance to go and film on both the islands that my parents are from. I feel very blessed,†says de los Reyes.
Kamar also was featured in 2005 in “Dining Out†as celebrity chef Aberto Morretti on NBC's primetime hit “Law & Order.â€
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Kamar de los Reyes moved to Las Vegas at the age of two and had a childhood filled with music. Kamar's father, a Cuban drummer and percussionist, would see two of his three sons become professional musicians, one a world renowned drummer, the other a world renowned percussionist. Kamar, the youngest of the brood, began playing the trumpet at the age of four and although he played alongside trumpet greats like Harry James, Doc Severinson, and Dizzy Gillespie, Kamar chose to go another route.
Putting trumpet aside while in high school, he rediscovered the arts as a singer and dancer in a pop/jazz ensemble called Harmony Express. During his senior year, a stage role as El Gallo in “The Fantastiks†marked his acting debut.
Throughout this same period, he studied dance at Backstage Dance Studio and performed with small musical combos. During a trip to Los Angeles to visit his brother Daniel, who was playing percussion for the Cher video “We All Sleep Alone,†Kamar landed a dancing role in the music video, and subsequently went on to work with Kenny Ortega in the feature “Salsa†and the television series “Dirty Dancing.†Later in 2000, Kamar would go on to be featured as Toni Braxton's love interest in her steamy music video “Spanish Guitar.â€
In 1989, Kamar began to focus on his acting career. After a number of feature films and television projects, Kamar finally rose to critical attention in 1994 for his portrayal of gay Irish-Mexican boxer Pedro Quinn in the Public Theatre's production of “Blade to the Heat.†The Associated Press praised Kamar's “mesmerizing performance†and a New York Times review noted “The most arresting figure [in the cast] is Mr. de los Reyes.â€
Over the next several years, de los Reyes would join the cast of “E.R.,†“New York Undercover,†“Touched by an Angel,†“Promised Land,†and “Total Recall 2070.†He would star in made for television movies “Blood On Her Hands,†“The Way She Moves,†and HBO's “Undefeated,†directed by John Leguizamo.
Kamar is also actively involved with The Gabriel Project, a fund-raising organization that provides life saving heart surgery for impoverished children, and is developing a curriculum here for our children to participate in this life-saving and life changing process.
Kamar's recreational interests include reading, writing, and several different sports. But his favorite pursuit is spending time with his son, whom he says, “He is the pride and joy of my life. Everything else is secondary.â€
Show him some love and wish him continued success! Don't forget to let him know Sass sent ya!!

John Doe is receiving strange phone calls -- always in the middle of the night, always around the same time. What's even stranger is that the caller's telephone number reads "private" on the caller-ID, despite John's recent purchase of "Private Call Block." He enlists the help of his friend Detective Barry; an undercover cop who discovers that the mysterious caller's phone number belongs to no one. Ultimately, the consistent call time - 12:47 a.m. - will show John that in the technological age, nothing is private. Is John a victim of identity theft? Paranoia? Techno-stalking? Or is he the victim of a plot more sinister than he could possibly imagine?
