James Taylor has been a major part of the Sydney Electronic music scene for the last 6 years. From the humble beginnings of being a resident at the now infamous Brooklyn Beat Boutique to Playing in front of 18000 people on New Years Eve right before Fatboy Slim last year, James has reached the Top of his profession in a staggeringly quick time.
You would be hard pressed to find a club that James hasn’t played at in Sydney. He has been part of almost every breaks night that Sydney has ever had to offer and is considered one of the major players in the Australian breaks scene. As one major dance magazine claimed James is on… “the lead council of the Australian breaks scene.†James has also played at just about every major Dance music festival that Sydney has to offer including Field day, Harbourlife, Parklife, Big Day Out, 360 and Shore Thing featuring Fatboy Slim on NYE 2005 @ Bondi beachAt the end of 2005, James produced his first commercially released mix CD. Fuzzy breaks vol. 2 is a double CD with one CD mixed by the Drummatic Twins and the other mixed by James. James was also voted runner up for DJ of the year in the 3d world end of year awards, coming 2nd to Australia’s number one DJ, Ajax. He continued to be billed at most major festivals in Sydney was in high demand both in Sydney and around the country.
