SpeakaMan born William Deshaun M. in the small town of Gaston, NC located just Below the Virginia state line; started his path to Stardom the same way most Superstars have: Heartache, Struggle, Diversity and Disappointment. The Neighborhood, family issues and self Determination contribute to a focus and persistence that cant be broken. Always in the limelight as a kid; raping and dancing to every song on the radio; Later DJing his mothers house parties and making up raps and beef lines for him, his brother, sisters and cousins, not knowingly on a path to become what he is today. By The age of 14 SpeakaMan was on his way to The Lone Star State, to little town, just over the bridge from Corpus Christi called Portland-Gregory, Texas. It is here that SpeakaMan met his homeboy Amp and they started making music seriously.SpeakaMan and Amp made tape after tape producing, writing, arranging and engineering their on songs; eventually getting 1 song on the top 10 countdown of a local radio station, getting well known in the region. After 3 yrs living in Texas developing a style and growing as a producer; SpeakaMan moved back to North Carolina, but this time to the Queen City, Charlotte, NC. There he met a Kid named Mitch Gunz, who was only 13 yrs old had that same drive and persistence. Speaka and Mitch started making music together soon becoming local legends. SpeakaMan Along with MitchGunzs mother Lady D as management formed the empire D&L Entertainment; Doing Talent shows, Regional Music Conferences, performing on venues that included 50 Cent, Mario, Queen Penn, and Craig Mack. He has worked with some of the industries great producers and was given the chances to perform in Atlanta, Charlotte, Corpus Christi West Palm Beach and Miami.SpeakaMan packed up with D&L Entertainment to live in The Sunshine State, South Florida; to put full attention on music. D&L Entertainment is now complete as a company. And with SpeakaMan bringing more to the table than your average artist, a seasoned performer, producer, engineer, arranger, programmer, artist developer, graphic designer and web designer.
