About Me

"In Rock" is a Russian-language rock publication.
Founded in Summer 2000, it concentrates on nearly all kinds of rock music - from 70s hard rock, AOR, art/progressive rock to various kinds of metal - heavy, thrash, power, death, doom, progressive. Not counting folk, blues, jazz/fusion... "In Rock" stays away from current trends. Our magazine is absolutely independent, open-minded and ready to everything new, fresh and creative in music, though our main focus is the music that appeared in the 70s... During it's 7 years of existance magazine gathered high reputation for it's professional attitude, quality of writing and honest attitude towards the listeners: we write about the music we like.
Regular sections are: exclusive interviews, bands' histories, album reviews (more than 100 new CDs in each issue!), news (art, hard and heavy, and local music too), live reviews, humour, letters, workshop...
"In Rock" is 80 pages (color cover, 32 color pages + 48 b&w), high quality glossy paper, current circulation is 8500 copies, distribution is Russia-wide (we got some Ukrainian and other ex-SU readers too). 6 issues per year.
