K.U.B Productions - many are called, few are choosen. K.U.B Productions really started in 2003, when the former Gazebo Boys, decided to transfer turf in the side benches of the Alphonso Uy Union Building in their home-court, Central Philippine University. They occupied the benches near the side stairs of the Uy Building which has been their "territory" up to this time. Many students have tried to throw them out of their "territory", but the "boys" always prevail in defending it. Although sometimes, there are still some minor "invasions". After quite some time, the "boys" was known because of their "litib detection abilities". CPU then used the "Kilid Uy Beauty Standards" in rating the ladies of Central Philippine University. This standard is simple, if you lady ain't pretty to the "boys", ya ain't pretty or ya ain't worthy to be looked at, at all. With this thing happening, the "boys" are now called, "The Kilid Uy Bantayeros" or the "Kilid Uy Boys" for short of "KUB" if you want it to be shorter. Time passed and the great group of handsome young men grew in number, they also had lady members. Time again passed and the KUB found out that most of their members have bands or support local bands, so they decided to form a production team, which would PAY the bands MONEY as TF's. KUB decided to do this because a lot of ilonggo bands are taken for granted. They are made to play without pay or even just a little "pagkaon para ma busog man ang mga banda kay gina gutom na sila sang tukar para mapa sadya ang tawo. pero and iban, bisan tubig na lang, wala gid! ITOT eh no?" So the 1st production of the KUB was made. Play for Pay, play for us, and we pay you, we pay you real money, not some motherfuckin' goddamn poster of some online game.
