It was 2001 when dietofwormz started joining competition and gigs in all rock scenez in iloilo. february 14, 2k1; wherein the band composed of this breathetaking members formalized by kelvin "kutz" didelez and joel "ian" sajo as the lead vocalz, daniel Dennis sarrosa as the lead gtar, melvon posadas on the rhythm guitar, jerson soledad as the bassist and mak "macoy" abaygar on drumz...
Before the band were formalized as diet of wormz, other members of the band plays different type/genre of music. but it was kutz, joel, daniel and melvon whom really originated the band and already playin during that time music such influences where Underground, doom, hardcore mostly Induztrial type of music. lately they discovered jerson soledad and mark "macoy" abaygar that this two guys fits on their taste of music and chemistry. until they got they're newly recruited members (jerson and macoy) and started all things seriously...
after the band member were finalized, they started writing songs and makin' composition in purely industrial metal type of music mixed up with neew core underground flavor. lately, they were discovered and well known as one of the top industrial band in iloilo. w/c is where one of their original hit composition "run 4 ur Life" stick in the mind of every iloilo rockers w/c also brought them to the muziklaban finalz during sept 2003 and represented visayaz region...
the desirable outcome of hardworking, effort and determination of this band has gone through far because of those achievements that the band accomplished. so they decided to sign a recording contract on deadstring records last august 2004. after four months of processing, they launched there very 1st EP album in iloilo. w/c was trully a successful on their part, because all of the copies of there album were sold out.
After hibernating for such a long time, a new Life has come for diet of wormz. and they wanna take it seriously and move to another level. next year is gonna be a tough one.. but there's no turning back... diet of wormz will take the part of the risk and grab the chance of a lifetime to share this ang give the beat Of the people..
