PantherInsider.com is the home of a few select Panthers focused Sportswriters who cover the team for Scout Media and FoxSports.com
Before joining Scout.com, Panther Insider was a small independent news site that linked to and covered anything Panther related. An unofficial source of information, PI insiders gradually built the site's reputation as good place to find info on the team.
PI is managed by Brad Thomas, and has a growing list of contributors who are experienced and knowledgable about the team, the NFL and Carolina sports in general. A number of the Scout "Network" contributors are nationally syndicated writers and reporters who work not only with PI, but with other major news outlets on Radio, TV and the Internet.
Sure there are other "official" media outlets out there who cover the basics, but there is no better place to get the real, unfiltered independent news that devoted fans demand. PI is a place on the web (outside the official site) that is dedicated to Panthers coverage all year round 24/7/365.
PI staffers hang out regularly on the PI boards. That's usually the best place to find them when they're not at a game/practice/press conference/on the phone.
