As an American woman in the twenty-first century, I am in a position to ask a man what he can do for me that I can't do for myself. I have a career, I pay my own bills, and I take care of my household without the financial help of any man- or woman for that matter. I feel I am in the position to ask. "What do you bring to the table?"

The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money. She quickly corrected his thought and stated, "No, I am not referring to money. There's more at stake here and I need something more."

She said, "I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection mentally because I need conversation and mental stimulation. I don't need or want a simple-minded man.

I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection spiritually because I don't need to be unequally yoked. I need someone who will never stop asking questions, despite the fact that there may be no concrete answers. He must know the patience of a Holy life, and the humility of knowing he's part of something greater.

I need a man who is striving financially because I don't need a man who is or will become a financial burden. The man I marry should be a man who is focused and goal oriented. I want a man I can sit down and plan a life with. I am looking for someone who is sensitive enough to understand what I may go through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me grounded, keep me real.

I am looking for someone who I can respect. The God I serve asks me to be submissive to my own husband. I feel that in order to be submissive, I must respect him. I would find it very hard to be submissive to a man who isn't taking care of his business. I have no problem being submissive; he just has to be worthy. God created the woman to be a help mate for the man. I don't want to and do not plan to help a man if he is unwilling to help himself. I've seen too many of my girlfriends stuck with men who are mental midgets, spiritual cripples and financial leeches."

i'm a bit of a girly girl, so of course i love romance and comedy... i can get into action and drama flix, and i tend to like anything involving music, dancing, or art. i like some scary and phenomenal flix... but am not so into grossly fake horror movies or sci-fi. i love Netflix for checkin out random ..aries and independent films.
