Bio
Kane Ian has been DJing and producing deep, funky house music since the late 90's.
He is best known for being one of the main founders of the now defunct Radiance Crew that was known to throw monthly house music parties for several years.
‘I was basically underage to go to any clubs and so we threw underground house parties at venues anywhere we could find.'
His love for spreading the funky and jackin' underground house sound has allowed him to make rounds in the local club circuit at venues such as Centro, Home, Attica, Happy and Phuture to name but a few, as well as international ones in New York City and Brooklyn where he headlined clubs -- The Tank and Laila Lounge. He was also invited to play at the ‘We Love House 2nd Anniversary' party at Zouk, Singapore, where his own productions were performed with live vocalist, Elisha.
Over the years, Ian has held residencies at places such as Liberte, Happy and Kazbar where he was able to share his love for house music. He was featured not once, but twice on internationally acclaimed Proton Radio on Mike Constantini's radio show called ‘Flux', where well-known artists such as Marcelo Castelli and Anthony Pappa were featured as guests. He has also appeared on other radio shows such as Stellar Music and Singapore's Lush 99.5 FM.
Besides his live shows, his production and remixing skills have been in demand and in 2007, he signed to American based label, Clean House Music where other artist such as Gavin Boyce, Craig Hamilton, Sceneheadz and the Sound Navigators reside.
He has done remixes for DJs/Producers such as The Quirk Burglars and Diem and has released music alongside producers such as Soydon, Kelle Marie, Roshan and Demarkus Lewis.
He currently resides in Singapore where he runs his own boutique house music imprint, Dustpan Recordings which features a growing roster of artist and releases that has gained an international following.
