"WHAT I DO"
After more than 2 decades of providing music to the masses, my life's work has truly emerged with the creation, formation, and direction of Subject2Change. I established the Subject2Change non-profit organization to help youngsters from low-income families by providing opportunities for them to participate, experience and appreciate fine arts and the many career opportunities available to them via the entertainment industry.
Prior to Subject2Change, I focused upon and continued to perform, live, in studio, and on television with well-known artists throughout the music industry. My list of credits reads like a whos who of the music industry's elite. Names like Michael Jackson, Kenny Loggins, Natalie Cole, En Vogue, Brandy, Tupac, Snoop Dogg and Beyoncé only scratch the surface of my musical accomplishments. Currently, my hands are quite full as I not only lead the Subject2Change band and non-profit organization, Bass Guitarist on Boyz II Men's current CD "Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA,"
Bass Guitarist on Rahsaan Patterson's current CD, "Wines & Spirits," also currently touring with smooth jazz sensation as the Musical Director for Euge Groove and Musical Director/Bassist for Tyrese aka Black-Ty, VH1 Soul Alter Ego Tour 2007. My more recent credits includes Musical Director/Bass Guitarist for the Grammy and Stellar award winning gospel artists, Mary Mary, playing bass on track 7, "What Is This," and bass player on Mary J. Blige's current smash single, Enough Cryin', and co-writer/producer of LL Cool J's 2005 hit single "Hush," and playing electric bass on India.Arie's song, "India's Song," on her June 2006 release, Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship.
