About Me

I have been hitting things with other things since age 5. It started with pots and pans, and continues with drums and cymbals. I played my first live show when I was 10 years old, with my brother’s band. The crowd cheered as we played Love Gun by Kiss. What a rush! This was a defining moment in my life and I have been performing ever since. Most of my time is spent doing something related to drums or music. I’m always practicing, rehearsing, recording or performing live. I guess you could say I am obsessed. I just can’t stop. I can play many styles, and to a click and/or sequencer. I can professionally fake bass, keyboards, piano, guitar, vocals and cello, when necessary. I have been in many bands including The Time Travelin Mo-Fos and even the Boogie Knights. I’ve played and shared a stage with many incredible musicians, done tons of recordings, played Vegas on NYE 2007, been on major radio, toured, released CDs, TV jingles, taught lessons, produced a film, scored a soundtrack, started a production company and own a record label. For recording I use Slingerland drums and Yamaha electronic drums and for live performances I use Tama drums and Pacific drums by DW. I also use trigger pads and trigger pedals for various percussive effects and textures. My playing can be heard on this page, and also @ thegnb.com or myspace.com/thegnb. You can see me perform live weekly with Eddie Vitolo, Keif Matera, and Mike "Haze" Saunders, collectively known as “The GNB” ( greatest nameless band ) throughout the NY-NJ circuit. For information regarding bookings, drum tracks, music, audio production services, etc...
