About Me

We are all familliar with the sounds coming out of "New Yorkshire". But for the main these are coming from the cities in the centre and south of the county.
What is happening in the northern wilderness of the county? A landscape and soundscape sculpted by extremes of weather and time. A land where men are men and sheep are scared. A land where Hawkwind albums are found in the permafrost and Marshall stacks dug from the peat bogs become familly heirlooms. The hills and valleys make it all but impossible for radio broadcasts to penetrate this un - forgiving landscape so only the most powerful sounds make it through. This process has continued for generations resulting in a sound that is as dense as the surrounding limestone hills.
This is the land that has spawned Stonedeaf. A four piece, shitkickers to a man! a farm boy, a rent boy, a ladyboy and a drummer.
