Why you choose your charity? I have worked at this shelter for about four years and they have saved so many homeless and abused animals! The Pet Adoption Center is a great organization.

How you feel about fur? It belongs to whoever was born with it! I wouldn't like my skin being used for a coat or shoes; therefore I do not buy products made from another being's skin or fur! And I usually have something to say to those who do...

Why your a vegan/vegetarian? I feel that we are all supposed to be. I love animals and feel that there importance is as equal as mine...a dogs a pig a cow a chicken a human...right? There are so many tasty and healthy foods out there to eat....why in the world would somebody eat meat or dairy?

How long you have been this? vegetarian 8 years vegan 4 years

What do you do for the animals? How do you show your compassion? I work at a no kill animal shelter and am going to school to obtain a degree in business so I can open and operate my own non profit animal sanctuary.

A bit about you? I am a new mom, a student, and BIG animal lover (aka: voice for those who most don't listen to). I am a very laid back girl and love to laugh (I've never smiled so much since I had my little girl, Kayla!) I love my friends and family and I enjoy educating people on areas of our society that they have been blind to their whole lives. I am planning to open a sanctuary in the near future and am currently seeking much needed mentors in order to do so.

Favorite music, artist, band: I love rock...new but mostly old. I like Janis Joplin, the Doors, REO Speedwagon, Guns n Roses, ...I also like grass roots and pretty much anything that has meaning behind it and makes me smile. No rap for me though...I can't get into that anymore for some reason...I guess I won't listen to anyting I wouldn't want my little girl to listen to.

Favorite book: Dominion, Matthew Scully. Brave New World, Aldeous Huxley. The DaVinci Code, Dan Brown. Animal Liberation, Peter Singer. Ismeal, Daniel Quinn. I could go n for a while, but I rthink you get the idea...

Favorite Movie: I love Sandra Bullock! Practical Magic and I love her new movie The Lake House!
