About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I love to scuba dive, so much that everything revolves around it. I'm a PADI instructor, NSS-CDS/NACD cave diver, and wreck diver. I'm certified in TDI advanced nitrox, decompression procedures, and trimix.
I travel to Florida and the Caribbean (and other places) on a regular basis to dive. I bought a house in Florida, in a little town called Greenwood, just outside of Marianna (where some of the best underwater caves are located!) and about an hour from Panama City Beach. I'll be in Tucson for a little while longer, but the Florida trips will be more frequent!
I also dive in local lakes in Arizona and Nevada; New Mexico has been added to the list. And I drive to Mexico and San Diego a few times a year. I even maintain a website about my diving and travels at Southwest Scuba .
If you're in Arizona and want to learn more about diving, check out the Courses page on the website. We don't just hand out C-cards. We provide great, informative courses. If you just want to dive, then check out our calendar or e-mail me and come dive with us! It doesn't matter if it's your first dive after your open water class or your 1000th, we'll dive with anyone who wants to dive! Join my Southwest Scuba group and stay updated on our local trips!
Come dive with us!

My Interests

Scuba diving - caves and wrecks are my favorite, travel, reading, amateur photography (I really mean amateur)

I'd like to meet:

Other scuba divers and wanna be scuba divers

Music:

Everything

Movies:

Mainly the older ones. Most movies today aren't that great. Some favorites are Into the Deep and The Abyss (yes, diving movies!). I've also seen the recent diving movies like Into the Blue, The Cave, and Open Water. None of them were very good, especially Open Water, but hey, they're about diving. The underwater cinematography in Into the Blue was phenomenal, though!

Television:

News junkie. I also like mindless sitcoms every now and then. Oh, and let's not forget Deep Sea Detectives on the History Channel. Watch it and you'll see 2 of my heroes.

Books:

Anything on diving - some recent favorites are Shadow Divers, The Last Dive, Into the Slough, Beyond the Deep. I'll also pick up Tom Clancy's and John Grisham's books, and any other book that look interesting.

Heroes:

Sheck Exley, John Chatterton, Richie Kohler, to name some of the famous ones (famous to me anyway). Let's not forget Jacques Cousteau either. There are a few others that I actually know, but I'll keep their names off here.

My Blog

Hello

I just signed up on myspace and I'm checking out all the features.  Thought I'd check out the blog.  Not much to say right now other than I can't wait until my vacation starts next week!
