UKRAINIA! was formed in 2002, by four guys who believed the Ukrainian music scene needed a little jump start. They play vintage Ukrainian music, hardened by the members' rock roots. The band has played everything from festivals to clubs to zabavas, leaving exhausted heaps of dancers in their wake. It's even rumored that they played a non-stop Kolomeyka for 45 minutes!!! After a performance, everyone in the crowd leaves wishing they were Ukrainian. After four hard years of drinking vodka and rockin the Ukie circuit, UKRAINIA! are in their prime.
