Ever thoughtful and diverse, Adunda’s music has been described as "cerebral" and "timeless", with subtle references to their rich musical inspirations; from the Trans-Atlantic influences of artists such as The Band, Ray LaMontagne, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Allman Brothers and Dylan to folk and rock influences closer to home...Roy Harper, John Renbourn, Pink Floyd and Richard Thompson to name a few.
The band have a rich history.....sharing the bill with names such as the Kays (later Kula Shaker) and Travis (showcase), and have played memorable gigs in front rooms, pubs, theatres, as well as circuit venues such as the Rock Garden and the 100 Club.
The individual and collaborative songwriting of Kev Butler and Dave Crawford offers the listener a broad yet distinctive blend of influence and individuality, fresh yet familiar, overlayed with melodies that meander and drift effortlessly - a signature sound that is unmistakeably ADUNDA!
Their live dynamic arrangements vary from the full band sound down to stripped-out and bare guitar and vocal harmony treatments, which captivate, and highlight their unique resonance.
Thanks for listening,
