I got into the movement through redskins & sharpskins!I believe in unity, respect, pride, faith & protecting the roots of the skinhead movement. This has always been a role I defend.The general idea is that a skinhead cannot be a racist. Boneheads are NOT welcome!After the move from France to Belgium (in 1990)I took a little distance from my skinhead attribute (unfortunately) but always kept the roots in my heart. This is why I stay a skinhead in heart & soul!I love Ska, punk, Oi! & mostly hardcore music. I'm open to all types of music but of course have my heart in hardcore mostly.Wether you're a trad, hardcore skin, Oi! skin, Ska(two-tone) skin, SHARPskin, doesn't matter to me. It's where your heart is at that matters...Feel free to join in on this network. Boneheads or racists are not welcome even though I believe that a freedom of opinion & belief is allowed... just not when it concerns these subjects due to the true roots of the movement.-SKINHEAD IS NOT ABOUT COLOUR, RACE, RELIGION, NATIONAL ORIGIN, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. IT IS A BROTHERHOOD/SISTERHOOD OF INDIVIDUALS WHO SHARE THE SAME PASSIONS.We believe in RESPECT!-What is SHARP????S.H.A.R.P (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice) are, as the name implies, Anti-Racist Skinheads. SHARP seems to have changed a bit over the years from when it first started out. SHARP was ment to show the world that not all skinheads were racist. That was as far as the politics in it went. There were (and most likely still are) anti-communist, gay bashing SHARPS.Today many younger Skinheads claiming to be SHARP tend to be leaning a little more to the left than their older counter parts. I have met communist SHARPs, gay SHARPs, and SHARPs that seem to think that you can only be a skinhead if you are strongly Anti-Racist, otherwise you are considered to be a fence sitter. This is mostly among the younger SHARPs who take left wing anti-racist politics BEFORE being a skinhead.NB- S.H.A.R.P. is not a political organisation but a point of view!!!SHARP SKINS 4 EVER!!
