Work, work and more work. Ha ha. Jokes. I love music, fashion, writing (so I guess by default, reading), all thing cultural, and plumbers. Yep, I kinda have this thing for tradies...
Preferably anyone who is not a serial killer, and who can spell their own name. So Stevie Wonder, that doesn't include you. But since I see you everyday, I guess you're the exception that proves the rule. Ok, enough with Steve. I'd like to meet a tall, dark, handsome...oh no wait, I've got me one of those. Ok, so maybe I'd like to meet some writers who are keen to contribute to the mag, and any other creative types. Oh yeah, and anyone who will buy me dinner. I'm easy (in more ways then one...)Ok. Stopping now.
Traditionally, I'm a cock rock lovin'little indie wannabe, but I'm easily distracted by anything that's different. People Under The Stars, Dan Kelly in a Double Bay cafe, The Offcuts turned up too loud on Southern Cross Drive, and, dammit, Death From Above 1979 (Let's make love and listen...!).
Someone asked me for my top five yesterday. Pfft, I say. Nobody has a top five; anyone anal enough to make lists should invest in some serious valium action. But if I had to, it would be Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Princess Bride, The Thin Blue Line and Napoleon frickin'Dynamite. That's five dammit.
White Teeth. The Cloud Atlas. 1000 Years of Solitude. And anything by the Ellis just to keep things on the exciting side.
My friends *ahhh...collective sigh*.
