The Trio met working in a Cherry Orchard in their teens and have journeyed through both music and life together. They are 4 men dedicated to raw and passionate music, red hot soul power , meliflous and heart felt melody and inspired lyrical content. Influences from Little Richard, The Strokes, Bob Dylan, De La Soul, John Spencer Blues Explosion, Toots and the Maytals, and G love and the Special Sauce are offered. The heart and soul of the band lies in a powerful rhythm section matched to a fertile and unique song writing partnership between Tommy Spender from Offcutts and Nick Vorrath from the Custom Kings. Their debut release , an E.P, entitled " BIG SMOKE ! " comes out soon on Rubber records/emi.
