About Me

Hello there, I'm Maurizio and I'm a pro keyboard player, composer, arranger.I started to study piano at the age of 7 and I grew up with 70's progressive rock bands(Genesis, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Yes, Jethro Tull, Gentle Giant...) as well as fusion,jazz rock bands/artists (Yellow Jackets, Spyro Gyra, Jeff Lorber, Bob James, LarryCarlton, Dave Grusin, Gino Vannelli...).I started to work as session man at the age of 20, also appearing in several italianbroadcasts on RAI (italian national television) such as Discoring, Domenica In and others...For many years I've been the keyboard player of a well known italian progressive rock bandcalled "Formula 3" (with Alberto Radius and Tony Cicco). I've been touring, national TVs(RAI and Mediaset) appearances (La vita in diretta, Taratata', Sanremo Estate,Sarabanda....) and studio recordings ("La Formula 3 a Sarabanda" - 1998 and "La follecorsa" - 2000). I worked as arranger for Vincenzo Incenzo (songwriter, Michele Zarrillo, Renato Zero, PFM); we appeared ..", a famous italian broadcast (TMC2 channel). I've toured with Little Tony, Nadia Cassini, Luca Sardella. I've been making jingles, music for advertising/documentaries for national TVs (RAI andMediaset). I recorded for Filippa Giordano (www.filippagiordano.net) in the "Primadonna" album (Japan,2005) I recently released instrumental music for "Xis Chillout Compilations" (Portugal, 2005).For the next future I'm planning a solo album
