About Me
I ponder, write about, take photos of and film shit for a living. See it here:
"Heres to the crazy ones. The misfits; the rebels; the troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo.You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you cant do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."
Skateboarder, writer, green, 80s nights, life's absurdities, asking "Why?" green tea, butterflies, turtles, seahorses, ladybugs and other cute and little creatures, Hoboken, NJ and Vancouver, argyle socks, the smell of coconut, outdoor dining, my dads old shirts and ties, foliage, cajun food & blues, waldorf salads and shrimp cocktail, not wearing underwear, napping, polka dots, I hate mint and talking on the phone, Costa Rica, traveling to skateboard, forests, not growing up, cute girls are better than hot girls, I fancy lipstick, glasses, flowers and other hair accessories, I'm afraid of the ocean and most natural bodies of water but I've saved two people from drowning, throwing food, music without lyrics, malarkey, shenanigans, hi-jinx, riff raff, tomfoolery, I believed in God until I saw a 31 year old man die of a heart attack in church when I was 8, I love the fall, I don't do holidays, observationalism, I wanted to be a Forest Ranger in a national park before I failed my first two semesters of college and switched to English, Lucas isn't my son but I love him like one.
"Dude, you are strangely and serendipitously one of the Major spokes in my world, at the moment, in more ways than you could possibly realize..." --Cintra Wilson
"Say hello to everything you've left behind, its even more a part of your life now that you can't touch it." --Failure
"Maybe sugarcubes seem pleasing just because they are gone, and that kind of detail brings you pleasure only as a contemplated lost thing, the pleasing nature of it is realized only because of its absence." --Dana Spiotta
"And another thing... no matter how much you think you love somebody, you’ll step back when the pool of their blood edges up too close" --Chuck Palahniuk
"You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me" --C.S. Lewis
"It appears the countless women born between the years of 1965 and 1978 are in love with John Cusack. I cannot fathom how he isn't the number-one box-office-star in America, because every straight girl I know would sell her soul to share a milkshake with that motherfucker. For upwardly mobile women in their twenties and thirties, John Cusack is the neo-Elvis. But here's what none of these upwardly mobile women seem to realize: They don't love John Cusack. They love Lloyd Dobler...
...Coldplay, a British pop group whose success derives from their ability to write melodramatic alt-rock songs about fake love. It does not matter that Coldplay is absolutely the shittiest fucking band I've heard in my entire fucking life, or that they sound like a mediocre copy of Travis (who sound like a mediocre copy of Radiohead), or that their greatest fucking artistic achievement is a video where their blandly attractive frontman walks on a beach on a cloudy fucking afternoon. None of that matters. What matters is that Coldplay manufactures fake love as frenetically as the Ford fucking Motor Company manufactures Mustangs."--Chuck Klosterman
