I was NOT in Decrepit, nor do I have anything to do with the band. I'm just a fan simply trying to get more people to realize how great this band was. Listen or die.
Decrepit is one of the most unheard of, overlooked, and underrated bands in the the entire hardcore/punk/crust/grind scene. They started in 1996 and broke up in 1999. A total of 4 7"s and 1 LP were released, and they were not on any comps that I know of. They shared members with Whorehouse of Representatives, Whipped, Cease and Desist, and more. Jim now plays in Consume, Jay plays guitar in S.O.L. (Leipzig, Germany Crust), Jon plays drums in Consume too. He also plays in Snuggle (Seattle pop punk in the vein of Jawbreaker), State of Fear, and Cop on Fire (Spain Crust/HC). Doug also now plays guitar in a band called Urban Liqour Store Riot (see bottom of top friends list).
All Decrepit vinyl is now out of print. However, the recently pressed discography CD can still be found in various mailorders and internet sites. Last I checked, Crimes Against Humanity still had some copies.
