Jesus (actually I met Him long ago when I became His follower). On myspace, I want to meet real friends with shared interests, and open hearts, who are honest and unselfish, not create a big photo gallery. I don't usually seek or accept unknown people to add here, because I just can't get time enough to communicate with friends I already know, so please don't be upset if I don't "add" you. Most people here are already friends through my church, the military, living history, my college, etc.....
As far as "dating", I don't. I have finally learned to be just FRIENDS... which is necessary before deciding if a serious, committed relationship is even worth exploring, and then to do so openly and mutually. I have finally learned the proper role of a Christian man towards women whom he loves: protector, not hunter. I wish I had learned this lesson earlier.
If God does will for me to marry, she must possess an unshakeable faith in God, honesty, open communication, unselfishness, intelligence, inquisitiveness, a love of life, a love for kids , and an appreciation of my interests : history, the arts (painting, acting, music, etc.), different cultures and travel, my Cherokee/Native American heritage, nature (the MOUNTAINS AND FORESTS!), and yes, of course, romance.
Perhaps God wants me to remain single; but
if He wills for me to marry, it will be forever.
