Age: 25
years old
Status: Loving my life as a mommy and wife
Location: Nebraska
Occupation:
Full-Time Diaper Changer, Boo-boo Kisser, Cook, Chauffer, Dishwasher, Maid...must I go on? ;)
ABOUT ME
I'm not
your typical 25-year-old. My life revolves around PTA
meetings, making homecooked meals, and early bedtimes. My
days are simple and calm, and I like it that way. I live
in Omaha with my husband Eric, his energetic son Christopher, our baby girl April, and
our houseful of pets! We have two cats, Kibbles
and Kirby, one dog, Dakota, Chris' fish, Nicky, and our
rabbits, Roxy and Riley. I'm a full-time Mom and I wouldn't have it any other way!!
INTERESTS
Cooking gives me purpose. I love making a full-fledged
homecooked meal for the boys every day. We rarely eat out and always eat in! I'm a
photography nut and love to scrapbook--I suppose the two go hand
in hand. I used to do a lot of freelance writing, but
haven't as of late as the kiddos keep me
busy! I enjoy a good read, a good movie, and a good glass
of wine. And I never turn down an opportunity to play
Legos with the main boys in my life!
MOVIES
As with my books, I enjoy a movie that makes me think (and
mindless ones now and then). My absolute favorite movie of
all time is Donnie Darko. Following the best is The
Weatherman, Garden State, Patch Adams, and Matchstick Men.
I know there are so many more!
TELEVISION
Our DVR is always recording something--Dirt,
The Office, Sex & the City, Flip this House, King of Queens,
Good Eats with Alton Brown, The Apprentice, Desperate
Housewives, Suze Orman, and all the rest are Eric's shows. ;)
MUSIC
I have many tastes in music, but my favorites tend to be more
mellow: Sarah McLaughlin, Norah Jones, Michael Buble, Frou Frou,
John Mayer, James Blunt, Big Red Button, Duncan Sheik, Mat
Kearney, and the list goes on.
BOOKS
I love a great read! Current book: A Million Little Pieces.
Recently Read: In Her Shoes, Da Vinci Code, She's Come Undone,
The Vagina Monologues, Lucky. All-Time Favorites: It Takes
a Worried Man, Veronika Decides to Die, and White Oleander.

the harder thing to do
and the right thing to do are usually the
same thing?
Nothing that has meaning is easy.
"Easy" doesn't enter into
grown-up life."
