Been a while since I've updated and figured it's time. I recently started playing Magic, hence the new background. Anyway, currently on leave and am enjoying every moment of it. Not much to talk about. I got a different Nissan Titan. It's a year older but it has the 4x4 and the tow package so I can haul a bit more. Wow, I now have one patrol under my belt. Pretty cool stuff. Not ready to go back out anytime soon, but I'll be ready again later on. Now I get a nice long break of easy office work. Yay! Anywho... Nothing new going on back at home. My poor doggies missed me and now they do not leave my side for anything, except for maybe food. Ah well. I am looking forward to my leave period. A bit of time in Texas should do me some good! Now my days are filled with reading, playing Wii! and watching corny anime my wife seems to keep on the tv 24/7.

Well I am now an official member of a submarine crew! I am attached to the USS Louisiana(Gold Crew). I am enjoying it so far. It does help to have some rank over the other newbies :) It means I dont have to do the crappiest jobs :) Good for me! Thanks to college I entered the Navy at E-3(seaman) and quickly made it to E-4(Petty Officer 3rd Class). Hopefull in March I'll make rank and be a Petty Officer 2nd Class. I just pray the advancement rate is a bit higher this time:)
Not too much new going on here. The tree is up, the decorations are hung with care, and presents lay about the tree in a festive manner. Soon will come the day we all anticipate. The day in which I (after too much eggnog) roam the neighborhood in nothing but my stocking and wish everyone a merry christmas. Then, as tradition dictates, I'll get my own private transportation back home in a car with flashing lights to announce my arrival. I will then be then carried inside my house by my adoring public and laid to rest for 12 to 16 hours. I love the holidays.

We now are at the Bangor Subase in Silverdale, Washington. This base is soooo much bigger and nicer than the New London Subase in Groton, Ct. I actually have a home complete with fenced in backyard, seperate fenced in patio, AND a garage with an automatic door thingamajig. Bully for me! Halloween has just passed and it was great. I had trick-or-treaters come to MY OWN door. What a thrill. I actually got to decorate a house for the occasion :) Thrillsville! Next up... Thanksgiving and on to Christmas. I will report to my boat hopefully sometime during the week of 2006Nov06. I have a few things to accomplish before hand. All is well on the Richardson's front.
*-* The Story So Far... *-* I was born a military brat and moved around from England to Maryland, to Japan, and then back to England. I ended up in Omaha, Nebraska for 8 years. I met my wife there and we were married in November of 2004. My family moved down to Dallas, Texas and me and my wife followed. We enjoyed Texas so much we claim it now as our place of residence. Texas is where I enlisted in the US Navy and now I'm waiting to see where they will send me next.
