LEE PISTOLERO HISTORYBegan singing in a punk band ‘Regular Wretches’ at the age of 15, supporting The Lurkers, The Damned, U.K Subs,etc. Then went on to found ‘Cry of the Innocent’ who reached Number 8 in the Indie Charts with ‘Susan’s Story E.P’ in 1982- Supported The Alarm, U2, Spear of Destiny, Big Country.Moved to London soon after where upon founding ‘The Ice Babies’ supported ‘Lords of the New Church’ for afew years. Formed the Glam Sleaze‘White Trash U.K’ who became part of the growing London Rock scene alongside & playing with Kill City Dragons, Dogs D’Amour, The Quireboys. The group were notorious for their excesses and wild life style and despite Major Record Company interest, they could never keep it together.In 1991 Lee put moved to L.A then to Zaragoza ( Spain ) in 92 putting together a new group ‘The Last Gang’ supporting U.F.O, Dio, Motorhead, The Ramones 93 –Recorded an album with John Walls (Never mind the bollocks-Sex Pisols ) in Boundary Row Studios London . Never saw light of day as dispute with Red Eye Management ( The Ramones ) ended the group.Then resurrected ‘White Trash U.K’ who toured with Motorhead 96 in Spain before moving back to the U.K. Split after a major deal with Noise ( Germany ) fell through at the last hour.Gave up music , became a parent to three kids until deciding to form ‘Gypsy Pistoleros’ in 2006, a group with a difference, one that could be seen as being unique And special.Sung in English with hints of beautiful Spanish , this is Motley Crue thrashing it out with the Gypsy Kings! Where they grabbed the attention of the Spanish Rock media and fans alike. The Pistoleros returned by popular demand to support Dog's D'amour in June, to the fans delight. The Uk was next to have the treat of the Pistoleros playing a support slot with Canadian rock n rollers Crystal Pistol on their successful Uk tour.The Gypsy Pistoleros then toured the U.K & Europe twice with Love/Hate, Bang Tango, Kristy Majors then Faster Pussycat, Bulletboys, Enuff ZNuff and as special guests of L.A GUNSThen opened up Rocklahoma 2007 'The biggest Glam Festival ever!' Didnt think we could top that, but the L.A Guns dates were incredible, Papa Tracci ( A lovely man ), Sir Chad Stewart , The Dark Elf Lord & Paul Black Paul Black plus Erick, Foz & Robbie became the srangest & most wonderful family for two weeks of adventure!
