Their sound is flamenco in a head on collision with punk/rock riffs, pounding bass and thrashing drums. The songs spin madly in the best rock 'n' roll tradition! With big hooks, attitude, and sleaze. Yet those flamenco breaks will get into your head and refuse to leave - this hybrid rocks!
Influenced by all the great rock bands of the past, they are also influenced by the new rock crowd, plus those Gypsy licks! Giving them the range of classic guitar riffs while taking rock to a new level! The Gypsy Pistoleros have a style that is definitely their own.
Lee J came up with the concept of the group whilst living in Zaragoza (Spain) with the real Gitanos! Sharing the stage with such bands as The Ramones, Motorhead, Dio, UFO and The Cramps on previous Spanish tours!
The new era began supporting Adler's Appetite in Spain in January 2006, where they grabbed the attention of the Spanish rock media and fans alike. The Pistoleros returned by popular demand to support The Dogs D'amour in June, to the fans' delight.
The UK was next to have the treat of the Pistoleros playing a support slot with Canadian rockers Crystal Pistol on their successful UK tour.
The Gypsy Pistoleros have toured the UK and Europe twice with Love/Hate, Bang Tango, and Kristy Majors, then Faster Pussycat, Bulletboys, Enuff ZNuff, and as special guests of LA Guns.
Gypsy Pistoleros opened Rocklahoma on Thursday 12th July 2007 and were invited back for Rocklahoma 2008 as they walked off stage.
The summer of 2008 saw them back in the States for the Rocklahoma, South Texas Rock Fest and Rock the Bayou festivals, as well as a tour.

Second album 'Welcome to the Hotel de la Muerte' will be out in June/July 2009, and will again be produced by the legendary Joe Gibb (Funeral for a Friend, Madonna) at Mighty Atom Studios in Wales.
