My Interests

I love working out and being active. I don't like sitting still for too long and can barely sit down to watch a movie. To give you an idea of what I mean, often times, I get up before a movie is even half over!

Basically, I love anything fitness related and art related/creative. So give me something to DO and I'm happy!

Over the past year, I have really come out of my shell and can now say that I am quite an extrovert. I still enjoy those introverted things like I love reading and learning things but I'm not afraid to get out there and have fun. I really love who I am and can appreciate life now in general. Oh! And if you don't want to have your ear talked off, don't get me started on health and fitness related topics... :P

I'd like to meet:

I'm not one for "meeting" people. I prefer existing in the background... peering out from the shadows ;-) ------ And btw...My favorite type of person is someone who radiates self-confidence so if that's you...then I want to be friends! :)

Music:

I love all sorts of music but I truly love heavy metal and hard rock stuff like Rob Zombie, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Metallica, BLS, Poison, etc... I tend to like my hard rock/metal with some angst in it... Then well on the other side of the music spectrum I have to say that I love Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Beyonce, Chamillionaire, Green Day, Bad Religion, The Killers, Cat Stevens, The Beatles, Billy Joel, Boston, Iron Maiden, ahhhh!!!... There's just so many and I love such a broad range...I give everything a shot... I'm VERY openminded & find value in nearly all music genres *wink*

And if you haven't noticed yet... I love various genres of music and I'm not afraid to show it *wink* so here's a playlist of music I love listening to... I'll keep changing the songs on a pretty regular basis :)

Movies:

The Goodbye Girl from 1977 with Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason is my favorite movie of all time. I've loved that one since I was little. Other movies I love:

In Summation... overall, I can safely say that my favorite movie genre is HORROR

I have noticed that, generally, my favorite movies lean towards the ones I have loved since I was a kid.

Television:

I, first, should start out by saying that I'm really not big into sitting around watching TV/movies. I get stir crazy and fidgetty (if that's a word). I am not one to HAVE to watch something. The way it usually goes is...if I see it..eh I see it...But when I do watch something,

Dead Like Me,
Six Feet Under,
(Huh, looks like I like shows they no longer make!lol)

A new favorite show of mine is Gene Simmons' Family Jewels

Then...of course, we have to add in some reality tv stuff:
America's Next Top Model,
Beauty and the Geek,
and the Wife Swap/Trading Spouses type shows since I love seeing the culture clash/psychological stuff...

And soooo... does anyone else remember Time for Timer?? I used to LOVE him during the '80s Saturday morning cartoon lineup! :)

Books:

My favorite book of all is The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger and a very close second is The Godfather by Mario Puzo

Other more current books I like:
Marley & Me by John Grogan, Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser, The New Work of Dogs by Jon Katz, Long Lost by David Morrell

And of course, Wonder Woman comics are very cool. I adore reading comics because I love to look at the different art styles.

Heroes:
