Reality leaves a lot to the imagination

About Me

You Say You Want to Make a Movie?
I hear it all the time, and YES: Absolutely! We can work together... we can help each other. We've always been and always will be open to collaboration and even equipment rentals! There's lots of ways to get in contact with us to share ideas and network... or to just ask a question! I'm here... reach out and touch me... with your fingertips (on your keyboard).
Collaboration is a wonderful thing! I've seen short films and feature films alike come together when someone is ready to allow a second set of hands to help out on their project: Don't just WANT to be a filmmaker... DO IT! We're always willing to talk with people about their ideas, as long as they're willing to trust our experience!

Heyo, this is Adrian Santiago! I am a Director, Writer, Cinematographer, Editor, and just about anything else you can imagine. I am leader and war chief of a band of rebellious independent filmmakers flying under the banner of Project Black Studios: Many of whom you can find in my top friends list!
We work with the Canon XHA1 High Definition Camera equipped with the Brevis 35mm adapter: What this means is we get results as close to film as one can get without actually using film! We have collaborated frequently with Mystic Media Productions as well as Texas Dream Imaging, and several independent contracts with businesses and television and radio advertisements.
I have a degree in Radio/Television Broadcasting. I am very interested in History, Science, Music, Film and Art. I am a heavy thinker, and a loud speaker. I'm not fooled by political bias in the news media. I believe that if the universe holds infinite possibilities, then it is infinitely possible we are not alone. I love children, but I especially love it when they go home. I never pass on the chance to shake a hand or to take advice: I find that the more of each I have, the richer I am in the end.

My Interests

MOVIES! ANIME! VIDEO GAMES! PRIDE FIGHTING! MUSIC! I *looooooove* geek girls!

I'd like to meet:

People who are interested in filmmaking, anime, videogames, and maybe even World of Warcraft. People who have ideas, dreams... people who are in love, people who are in pain, people who are wise, and people in need of help. Anyone, everyone: You can learn a lot from the people you meet!

Music:

DETHKLOK! And, uh, real bands too: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Gorillaz, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Nirvana, Phil Collins, Elvis Presley, Rob Zombie, Sabaton, Michael Jackson, Nine Inch Nails, Aborym, The Minibosses, Rage Against The Machine, Static-X, The Temptations, KC & The Sunshine Band, Fatboy Slim, and all of that.

I basically dig Jazz, Blues, Oldies, J-Pop, Rock, Metal, Industrial, Techno, Disco, Video Game Soundtracks, and Chiptunes. (See what's missing? It's RAP. Don't "Add Me" with that lame bullshit!)

Movies:

Pulp Fiction, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars (Empire Strikes Back, bitch!), Harry Potter and all of that. Back to the Future was gnarly. Lately, Children of Men was fantastic, as well as Martin Scorsese's The Departed.

Television:

I still watch WWE RAW... so what? Deal or No Deal's pretty cool. Metalocalypse is my latest craze... and all of the perennial favorites are there: The Simpsons, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Attack of the Show, X-Play... when I see a good movie on TV, I'll watch it. Otherwise, not too much TV.

Books:

Books are like, for people who can't afford MP3 players.

Heroes:

John Lennon was pretty righteous... I hope to become like "The John Lennon of Motion Pictures". Hulk Hogan was a pretty badass hero back in the 80's. Ninja Turtles... eh, oh: Mom and Dad too... yup.
